Unlike other viral internet rumors that say that something tragic happened to Miley Cyrus, there is sad news to report this Friday.

One person was killed this morning when Miley's tour bus overturned.  The 16-year-old "Hannah Montana" actress was not on board the bus at the time, however.

Sgt. Thomas Molnar of the Virginia State police says the tour bus ran off the left side of highway 85, hit an embankment and flipped over. The accident happened around 8 a.m. EST about  40 miles south of Richmond.

The driver who was killed hasn't been named pending notification of next of kin. One other person suffered minor injuries.

It must have been a bad accident, however, as the passengers had to exit the tour bus through the front windshield.

The bus was one of four heading to North Carolina together after the Cyrus' two-show stay on Wednesday and Thursday in New York.

Christina Ambers, a top hand & foot model in New York, has filed a lawsuit against her upscale apartment complex, claiming the board is attempting to force her out due to the fact that she married its former porter, Angel Rotger.

Ambers bought a 700 square foot apartment in 2003 at 340 E. 74th Street.

She has now filed a $10 million lawsuit in Manhattan Supreme Court against residents and management of the same building known as the Avon House.

The lawsuit claims Rotger lost his job and that several building employees forced her to hail her own taxis and retrieve her own packages after the couple became romantically involved.  The couple married in July.

The suit claims residents object to "a Hispanic former porter" living in the building.

Building lawyer Joe Colbert has said that the claims are simply without merit.

With the new Twilight sequel New Moon almost ready to hit theaters, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have taken to the late night talk show circuit.

On Wednesday, Robert Pattinson took time to visit the Late Show with David Letterman to talk about Twilight, New Moon (get your free tickets here), and the rabid fan base that has grown over the past several months.  David Letterman also asked Pattinson about ongoing rumors of a romance with Kristen Stewart away from the big screen.

The Pattinson appearance comes on the heels of co-star Taylor Lautner's appearance on The Jay Leno Show and Kristen Stewart's appearances with Conan O'Brien and Jimmy Fallon.

Legendary skater Scott Hamilton will skate on national television for the first time since surviving a brain tumor, joining fellow Olympian and cancer survivor Dorothy Hamill for an inspirational Thanksgiving Day special.

The special, entitled "Kaleidoscope," will air on November 26 and is meant inspire viewers who may be battling cancer. Also appearing in the special will be 1992 Olympic figure skating champ Kristi Yamaguchi and two-time medalist Nancy Kerrigan.

Hamill, who won a gold medal in 1976, will skate to a song performed by Olivia Newton-John, who was also diagnosed with breast cancer.

Scott Hamilton says the show is intended to entertain, but also to motivate.  He has overcome testicular cancer and battled a non-cancerous brain tumor.

Hold on to your butts, Transformers fans!  In a surprising move, the writing team at IDW Publishing have done the unthinkable.

The premiere issue of the new Transformers ongoing comic book series, available on Wednesday, ends with the iconic Optimus Prime resigning his post as leader of the Autobots. The twist occurs alongside word that, also in the same issue,  fan-favorite Ironhide dies.

It's shocking, yes, but series writer Mike Costa has said that changes were needed in order to advance the storyline.

"This first story arc is all about upheaval and change and what happens when you realize that all the tools and skills you've previously spent your life accruing are no longer effective."

Editor Andy Schmidt agrees.

"Ultimately, our book is based around a universal theme of 'transformation' and, more importantly, that real change and real transformation must first come from within."

Schmidt knows that Transformers fans can be passionate when it comes to change.

"Fan reaction has been mixed. Everything from 'Wow, they're really making changes and taking this seriously. Can't wait to pick it up!' to, 'I love Ironhide, I'll never read that!' "

He thinks fans will come to accept the new changes as the story advances.

"We'll see how it goes, but I believe the storyline is great and ultimately that is what we aim to deliver to the fans. The hate mail has already begun but that's what happens when storytelling risks are taken. I'm waiting to see how fans react when they see it in context."

Looks like Rihanna has found a new man, one that hopefully won't beat the snot out of her.

Yes, Rihanna is said to have been spotted with actor Tristan Wilds, 20, (of 90210 fame) during a recent get-together at her mansion in L.A.

“No one knew why Tristan was there initially, because it was not an industry party — it was very intimate,” a fellow guest said. “But everyone quickly realized they weren’t meeting for the first time, because they were openly affectionate for everyone to see.”

Wilds, who had  also appeared with Jay-Z in the 2008 video for "Roc Boys," was introduced to the pop singer by an industry executive earlier this year.

“They’ll keep in touch while she’s away,” the inside source reports. “They’re already planning to use iChat and Skype to stay in contact until Tristan finishes shooting ‘90210′ for the season and can fly out to meet her on the road.”

Reby Sky, A.K.A. the New York Giants Girl, has been named Miss Howard TV December 2009 for Howard Stern's Howard TV On Demand channel.

It seems that Reby, whose real name is Rebecca Sky, plays for both teams, so to speak, and is now involved in a relationship with another woman, after having been married and beating the snot out of her husband once she learned that he had cheated on her.

Costco is raising eyebrows by taking a unique stance in a pricing disagreement with the Coca-Cola Company.  The company has banned Coke products from its Costco stores.

A Costco exec confirmed that the ban is now in place, stating that the dispute was over pricing, but refusing any further comment on the matter. Coke says they intended to negotiate in “a spirit of fairness” and that Costco is an “important customer” to them.  Coke’s current product line includes Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite, Sprite Zero, Full Throttle energy drinks, Powerade, Minute Maid products and Aquafina water.

Costco isn't going to actually remove Coke products from its shelves, but it won't be restocking any of company’s offerings until the dispute has been resolved.

If you're a Diet Coke junkie like me, then you had better stock up while you can.

Once again the celebrity rumor mill is spinning out of control. Chat rooms are exploding with "Miley Cyrus dead!" rumors.

Well, just relax. Miley Cyrus is not dead.

The latest rumor says that Miley was on her way to a Hannah Montana taping and “was in a terrible car accident and died.”

It goes on to say that she was struck by a large truck that ran a red light traveling at a speed of about 55 mph.

As with every other Miley Cyrus rumor that's hit the web this year, it is not true.

No reason to panic. Nothing more to see. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Darius Rucker has done something special.

On Wednesday night, the Hootie and the Blowfish singer won his first Country Music Award as a solo artist and made a little bit of history at the same time.

Rucker, 43, became the first African American man to win the New Artist of the Year award for his solo album "Learn to Live."

"To the fans, thank y'all for accepting me," said Rucker. "And most importantly, to country radio, you took a chance on a pop singer from Charleston, S.C., and God bless y'all for that."

Rucker also received a nomination for Best Male Artist, which would have also made him just the second African American man to win that honor.  Charley Pride was the other.

"You can't help but smile when someone mentions your name in the same sentence as Charley Pride," Rucker said.

As the frontman for Hootie and the Blowish, Rucker's career spanned seven albums, 16 hit singles and a total of 22 years, but he still wanted to prove something by staking his claim in the world of country music.

"I don't know if I proved it can work," he said. "But maybe someone will give a second listen now instead of just saying no."

The Twitter phenom "Shit My Dad Says" is heading to TV.

CBS has signed on for a comedy show based on the popular Twitter account, which has grabbed over 700,000 followers since it was launched in August and has turned its owner, Justin Halpern, an internet sensation.

The creators of "Will & Grace, " David Kohan and Max Mutchnick, will serve as executive producers and supervise the writing for the comedy, which Halpern will co-write along with Patrick Schumacker.

The title of the show will obviously change if it makes it to the airwaves.

Halpern, 29, got the idea for the Twitter account after moving back in with his parents in San Diego.  On August 3rd, he debuted "Shit My Dad Says," a Twitter feed where he tweeted the random colorful ramblings of his 73-year-old father.

Some examples:

"Oh please, you practically invented lazy. People should have to call you and ask for the rights to lazy before they use it.";

"Why the fuck would I want to live to 100? I'm 73 and shit's starting to get boring. By the way, there's no money left when I go, just fyi"

Look for it to hit the airwaves soon, if it gets past the screen test.

Watched it in the theater, loved it. Blu-ray arrived yesterday, won't play in my PS3, just sits there on black screen. All my other Blu-rays play just fine.

There is NO MENU and no captioning. It's impossible to enjoy an animated movie if it's not captioned and you can't hear it. Pixar should be ashamed.

Beautiful movie. Typically Pixar. I actually went to a cinema to see it (which, here in Germany, is usually getting too expensive for my taste), and didn't regret it at all. Bought the DVD as soon as it came out - yes, actually thought the movie good enough that I want to see it again on DVD, despite it not being particularly cheap. And the DVD doesn't play, thanks to some DRM (Digital Restriction Mess-Up). It doesn't play, because it does not adhere to the DVD standard, thus (by definition) not being a DVD. So I paid a LOT of money - to get nothing. Thanks. Disney. Well done. Wish I could give you Zero Stars. Certainly an excellent way of making sure I buy even less DVDs than I already do, and certainly none ever again from *you*.

There's little I can add to the rave reviews already given here. Within the first 15 minutes of "Up," I found myself alternately laughing my head off and crying like a baby. I can't even remember another film, animated or live-action, that played my emotions with such delicious ease...that had characters so endearing I found myself caring about them instantly...with a story so charming I was hooked from beginning to the end credits. I agree with other reviewers that some of the themes might be too grown-up for very young and/or sensitive children...hence, the PG rating. (For the record, I think it's unfair to hold it against the film-makers if your very young child was upset...those ratings are given for a reason. It's up to parents to pay attention to the rating and use their common sense.) There's plenty of fun and adventure here for both children and adults. The most fun I've had watching a movie in a long, long time!

What a great deal! If they started packaging all Blu-Ray movies like this I'll buy more. I've been renting, not buying because I don't want to buy a movie I can only play in my living room. If my kids want to take a movie to Grandma's house or watch it in our back room or on our computer they can't if it's Blu-Ray. With this great set that contains all three (Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital copy all for one $19.99) they've solved all my problems. I actually came home and re-checked what I paid on Amazon because they are selling this in town for $35 and more! The movie itself is another wonderful hit from Pixar. There really is something for everyone. The beginning is very touching and I found myself putting myself in his place as he and his wife went through their troubles. My kids went to the movies to see this and loved it. Like I said, a great movie and a great deal!

I thought the movie would be a lot better than it was. I didn't think Uma Thurman fit the part very well, and I don't think she had much chemistry with Colin Firth or Dean Morgan. It wasn't a terrible movie, but not a movie I would watch again.

At least, with an television broadcast test pattern you get a sound that's in tune. The soundtrack to this movie turned an otherwise mediocre dull, girl-falls-for-the-other-guy-for-no-good-reason "love story" into a "Where did I put the earplugs; I can't find the MUTE button fast enough" monotone singing, American-Idol rejects eppisode. William Hung has a better voice than whomever sang that hiddeous tune played throught, and after this movie. If the music was better I'd give it ONE more star. But it lost a star because I can't get the pain of that noise out of my head now! Save yourself the time and watch the brittish classic "I'm alright Jack". At least you can get an education from that movie, where you can't from this one.

I needed something non-challenging to watch last night so I rented this DVD. It's fairly formulaic and, unless you're in the mood for this type of film, could be boring, but I enjoyed it. I love Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and he's charming in this film. He plays the part perfectly, with a roguish glint in his eye. Colin Firth is good as the boring and predictable fiance and Uma Thurman handles her first romanti comedy role deftly. The writing is so-so, but the cinematography is gorgeous. I won't summarize the plot; other reviewers have already done that. This isn't the best romantic comedy out there, but it's more than adequate as a fun film. JDM has the potential to be a major romantic comedy star.

I am a person who goes to the movies a lot...and sees every chic flick (Romantic Comedy) there is to see!!! This is one I was hoping to see when it came out at the theater, but I never made...because I dont think it was out long enough for anytone to actually see. Well cking constantly to see when this would finally be released to come out on DVD....I was very excited to see it available on the 10th of this month! So you can guess where I was on the 10th...renting this movie!! Well I am very happy to report...this movie was WONDERFUL! If you want a perfect girls night out movie..this is it!!! The story was so cute and the actors who stared in this did a great job! I love Colin Firth and Jeffrey Dean Morgan is just perfect for this movie!! I am about to order it now on Amazon!!! And I highly recommend this movie!! You will love it too!

1. Ok, I checked out this film tonight wondering why I never heard of this before. After watching around 20 min of it, I started to realize why--> ie, this film really lives in pure fantasy land. You have to really wonder if the writers of this film were professional writers or someone they hired... from the local high school drama program. The storyline is just... unbelievable, lame, and immature (I can't describe it in any other way). 2. The biggest question I have is, how in the world Uma Thurman and Colin Firth got bamboozled into doing this flop of a movie? Unless you're completely bored, skip this.

Not the light hearted comedy I expected at all. But chalk this up to our present freedom of expression mentality. I expected LOTS more from these two actors. What you get is constant profanity and extreme sexual references. I found it worthless as a film. Very disappointing after seeing Gerald in PS I love you. and Katherine having numerous cute and funny romantic comedies under her belt. I found it offensive and disappointing. They had chemistry but needed a script that had vocabulary....

A nice cute film but not one to be watched with little ones nearby! Lighthearted but hot at the same time.

This 2009 movie proves that women - in this case, screenwriters Nicole Eastman, Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith - can write romantic comedies just as poorly as men can. As directed by Robert Luketic (Legally Blonde), the idea behind this misfire is to cross-pollinate the most tired conventions of the female-focused genre with the sensibilities of the recent spate of raunchy, man-boy comedies, this latter genre having found its unequivocal leader in Judd Apatow. However, unlike Apatow, who has figured out how to make films that are insightful as well as funny like The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up (ironically featuring this film's star, Katherine Heigl), Luketic shows no such finesse as everything in this film feels labored with the principal actors Heigl and Gerard Butler overplaying their opposites-attracts roles to near-cartoon proportions. Moreover, there are so many absurd gross-out gags inserted in this film that it feels like the creators (including executive producer Heigl) completely miscalculates who its target audience appears to be. The strictly by-the-numbers plot centers on Abby Richter, an uptight, overachieving producer for a ratings-challenged morning talk show in, of all places, Sacramento. Her workplace is full of the stock characters you would expect in this type of formulaic movie - the demanding station manager, the show's vainglorious co-hosts with empty smiles and non-ironic deliveries, the inane segments that make up Abby's struggling show. Predictably, her personal life is burdened by an incessant, programmatic search for Mr. Right, and consequently, her one-time dates become a series of qualification interviews. Prospects don't look much better at work with her show's ratings, and so enters local cable-access celebrity, Mike Chadway, a chauvinist personality who regales in providing sexist advice on what men are really looking for in women. Naturally, it comes down to guys wanting nothing but sex and how women should do everything they can to encourage it. Ratings rise based on the prurient content and Mike's unapologetic behavior, and even Abby recognizes his prowess in tapping into the public's psyche, so much so that on a stay-or-get-fired wager, Mike convinces her that he can be her Cyrano to help her land her neighbor, a handsome doctor who meets all of Abby's superficial qualifications. As tired as the premise sounds (and it is), the movie's pain points are exacerbated by the constant need to humiliate Abby, mainly through simulations of sexual acts in public. Obviously a knock-off of Meg Ryan's fake orgasm scene in When Harry Met Sally..., the most notoriously contrived episode involves a pair of electronic panties that cause her to writhe uncontrollably in front of her corporate sponsors. Heigl seems to be playing the same model of efficiency in all her big-screen roles, and as Abby, she plays her stereotype on hyper-drive, for instance, hanging upside down from a tree in her underwear or doing her happy dance repeatedly. Burying his Scottish brogue under an accent that sounds suspiciously like Mel Gibson's, Butler should be careful about accepting roles like Mike because he could turn into a Matthew McConaughey-type of actor, a promising career start (Dear Frankie) followed by bad commercially-driven choices. The other actors make little impression with even the comic talents of John Michael Higgins and Cheryl Hines wasted as the shallow talk show co-hosts. The ending is predictable and poorly matted on a hot-air balloon, and the denouement brings an unnecessarily cynical exclamation point to the whole venture. The 2009 DVD is unsurprisingly, mostly filler - a gag reel, a set of alternative endings, and a couple of featurettes - the first about the differences in the male and female points of view and the second about the apparent hilarity in making this film. I'm glad the cast and crew had a good time, me not so much.

While this film is more crude than those that followed a similar formula, I suppose that at the time that When Harry Met Sally was out and a certain 'I'll Have What She's Having' scene was shown many people felt that film was fairly crude. The Ugly Truth certainly includes some crude materials, though I think it was long ago out-cruded by My Best Friend's Girl [Blu-ray], American Pie - Unrated (Widescreen Collector's Edition) or Good Luck Chuck (Unrated) [Blu-ray]. Yeah, yeah, { without giving spoilers here directly } there is some material that some might be easily offended with, and the language is definitely crude, but if you're watching this film you probably know to expect that material already. If not, then perhaps you should learn about a film before watching it, rather than simply jumping into viewing (perhaps because you figured that the stars wouldn't be in something that you find offensive). Given Katherine Heigl's run of films, a resume which includes Knocked Up [Blu-ray] as an example, it probably would be good to NOT assume a sweet girl role for Heigl in everything she plays in. I mention above When Harry Met Sally... (Collector's Edition), but that's a bit old at this point. Perhaps a newer film that shares a similar DNA would be say He's Just Not That Into You [Blu-ray], but there are plenty of others that follow the same basic formula, and if you really think about it, the formula here goes back (with some variations) through the ages all the way to Cyrano de Bergerac. Character needs help from someone else who understands the type of person that character is looking for. Heigl brings charm to her character and flashes her smile and teeth even as she turns off her brain and takes the advice offered by Butler's character. As she does, she is able to win the attention of a neighbor that seems to fit the profile (in her mind) of a perfect mate. Will she wind up with that neighbor? To find that out, you'll have to watch the film. Sony makes use of an interesting feature with this disc, at least on the Blu-ray release, via BD-Live. If your Blu-ray player is connected to the internet and supports BD-Live you can enable the MovieIQ function that is included with the disc. Once enabled you get the equivalent of pop-up trivia that can be accessed by pressing the Enter button on your player's remote control. It's an interesting use of BD-Live and to this point in the history of Blu-ray disc technology this might be the first really interesting feature that might appeal to more than a handful of users. On the other hand most people simply want to watch the movie and not be bothered with a bunch of trivia and background information so they may never engage the feature at all. Those that do are greeted with a simple pop-up interface that is easy to navigate, but sadly one that tends to obliterate too much of the screen and also seems to show too little information on the first screen that pops up (you have to scroll around a bit, click on a 'more' type button to see the rest of the information, etc., and that becomes less useful than one might hope for). A more translucent area for the pop-ups would be nice, though I suppose that with a variety of possible backgrounds that is difficult. Alternatively, and perhaps more wisely, I'd suggest using the space that is otherwise occupied above or below the feature film. The 'bug' or icon that shows that there's information available actually does show up in the bar above the film, but nothing else uses that space while the film is running, so that seems the perfect place to squeeze the MovieIQ information into. Picture quality and audio quality are quite good, though with a film this recent one would expect no less. This disc borders on a buy it recommendation from me. Certainly worth a viewing, but be aware of the crude and lewd material going in.

This is a film you and your wife/GF/husband/BF and share and laugh together with. It is not a chick flick, but it is definitely about relationships from both sexes point of view. Funny as they get, and great acting. I wanted something with KH in it other than 27 dresses and Love Comes Softly. She is superb and GB is right on the money. Couldn't have been cast any better. Although the script was written by women, they know what they are talking about! My wife and I highly recommend it! Five stars!

It looks like Steven Tyler has quit Aerosmith.  I'll give you a minute to let that sink in.

Guitarist Joe Perry said that Tyler, who recently hurt his shoulder, has left the band "as far as I can tell."

Tyler hasn't made any sort of official announcement on the matter but Perry, 59, says that Steven Tyler, 61, hasn’t been returning his phone calls.  He hasn't been in touch with the rest of the band either.

"Steven quit as far as I can tell," Joe said. "I don’t know any more than you do about it. I don’t know for how long, indefinitely or whatever.

"Obviously, he hasn’t been giving 100 percent for a long time.

"Frankly, the last few months I’ve been wanting not to rock the boat. I don’t want him canceling any more gigs. We really wanted to do these last four. We didn’t want to call him out or get him pissed off, for whatever reason. So we just let things lie."

Perry has even been tweeting about his troubles with the Aerosmith front man.

"Hasn’t called me in months," Perry has tweeted. "A bit cold. What about fans? The people that also love him and put him where he is. After 40 years? … Last time I phoned him he hung up on me."

What if Tyler doesn't get back in touch with the crew?

"We’ll probably find somebody else," Perry added, "and then we’ll be able to move Aerosmith up a notch."

It should be noted that in a recent interview with Classic Rock Magazine, Tyler stated that he wants to concentrate on "Brand Tyler."

Atlanta comedian Katt Williams was thrown in jail on Monday after being arrested and charged with burglary and criminal trespassing, according to a Coweta County deputy.

Katt Williams (real name: Micah Williams) was arrested early Monday morning. No other details have been made available at this time.

Williams recently hosted the BET awards and appeared in the Tyler Perry comedy First Sunday.  He also did an HBO special, Katt Williams: Pimp Chronicles Pt. 1, which was filmed in Atlanta.
