The trial is over. Casey Anthony has been found not guilty of first-degree murder in the 2008 death of her then-2-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony.
She also was found not guilty of aggravated child abuse and aggravated manslaughter.
She was found guilty, however, of providing false information to a police officer.
Casey wept and embraced attorney Jose Baez as the verdict was read.
So, the trial that captivated America has come to an end. Would a young, new mother actually kill her own daughter in an attempt to regain the fun-loving lifestyle she once enjoyed? According to a Florida jury, the answer is “no”.
