Carrie Prejean Sex Video Tape Prompted Settlement (VIDEO)

UPDATE: There is now a Miss Universe Sex Tape scandal hitting the airwaves as well.

Wasn’t it strange how after months and months of battling it and swapping lawsuits, Carrie Prejean suddenly decided to settle her lawsuit against the Miss USA pageant out of court?

Turns out there was very good reason for her to do so.

Carrie Prejean had been seeking more than one million dollars at first…until the attorney for the Pageant handed Prejean a home made sex video tape where she was showing off her skills.

The video is quite graphic and has never been released. TMZ had actually acquired it but chose not to release it because it was too raunchy. Now you know it must be good. They say that Carrie Prejean “has a promising solo career.”

We’re not sure if this constituted blackmail, but it seems to have worked.  It reportedly took about 15 seconds for Prejean to walk away with practically nothing.

The Pageant is paying about $100,000 to cover her attorneys fees and her publicist. Prejean gets nothing.

Prejean’s lawyer, Charles LiMandri, responded with a short statement issued through an employee at his law office. “It’s a confidential settlement, and he can’t discuss it,” the statement said.

Pageant spokesman Kenn Henman has said the settlement means all lawsuit demands are dropped.

“We are moving forward from the past and looking towards the crowning of two winners and the new look of the upcoming Miss California USA pageant, telecast live on November 22,” pageant Executive Director Keith Lewis was quoted as saying.

Prejean’s tell-all book, Still Standing: The Untold Story of My Fight Against Gossip, Hate, and Political Attacks, hits bookstores next week, and she is scheduled for media interviews to promote it (pre-order here).

You can see some of the racy photos that have been found so far right here.  These are nothing compared to what’s on the sex tape, however.
