Carrie Prejean Gets to Keep Crown (Video)

"The Donald" has spoken.

At a press conference Tuesday morning, Donald Trump announced: “Carrie [Prejean] will remain Miss California. We are in the 21st century.”

UPDATE: Miss California Carrie Prejean was fired on June 10, 2009.

Trump further stated that the committee had “really studied” the revealing photos that surfaced of Prejean earlier this month.

“We’ve made a determination that everything we’ve seen to date that she’s done — some were very beautiful, some were risqué — the pictures taken were acceptable, were fine, and in some cases were lovely pictures,” he said.

Carrie Prejean responded by thanking God for “trusting [her] with this large task and giving [her] the strength to stand by [her] beliefs.”
