Google‘s got something up its sleeve.
Google will be hosting one of its “Campfire One” events for developers on April 7, just over one week from today. These events usually take place right out on the lawn at Google HQ and usually mean that some sort of big announcement is impending.
At the campfire held in May of last year, Google announced the details behind of Friend Connect. The month prior, in April of 2008, Google announced App Engine.
So everyone is now trying to figure out what Google’s got cooking. Many seem to think that it’s Java on AppEngine.
It might be, it might not. Only time will tell.
