CafePress, in a partnership deal with the e-commerce company Sellit, is launching a new series of embeddable shopping widgets. These widgets can be utilized in social networks, blogs, or standard websites.
The widgets, branded as ShopBOT, will give real-time inventory and product information from any CafePress account. You can also choose to have your own ShopBOT widget placed on “premium web properties” as an ad, for as little as $10 per month.
ShopBOT is currently in beta, although any CafePress seller is said to now have the option to create one widget per account. CafePress and Sellit are planning to have the program fully launched sometime later in the first quarter.
If you would like to read more about it, head over to the ShopBOT FAQ.
