If you start to feel a little sick to your stomach while riding in a cab in Chicago, you’d better tough it out.
On July 1, the city passed a new fee of $50 for anyone who vomits inside a Chicago taxi.
Chicago’s city council signed a new regulation that allows cab drivers to charge passengers a $50 fee if they uncork a technicolor yawn inside their cabs – just to help cover clean up costs.
Chicago cab drivers initially lobbied for a $75 fee for blowing chunks, but it was decided that the lower amount was more than enough to clean up their vehicles.
