Falling DownThere’s more violence right here in the Baltimore area today as police have just shut down the Baltimore-Washington Parkway (MD 295) after receiving reports of a man shooting at vehicles.

Traffic on the B-W Parkway has been stopped in both directions near 195 and the BWI Marshall Airport.

Police say they’re looking for an armed suspect in the area, although it’s unclear if any vehicles were hit by the bullets.

Police started getting 911 calls around 11:30 a.m. EDT this morning regarding a man with a shotgun along the highway.

They believe the man used a sledgehammer to smash out the windows of a vehicle parked near the roadway.

In what may be something ripped from the movie “Falling Down”, officials believe that the man may have been upset about a speed camera that had been installed along the highway.

If you’re in the area, the suspect is said to be a white male, between 50 and 60 years old, wearing a black and red flannel shirt with blue jeans.

So far, no injuries have been reported.
