If you recall, a few weeks ago we discussed th viral footage of an angry Iraqi hurling footwear at George W. Bush. The video exploded onto the scene and was watched more than 5.5 million times.
Well, in an unbelievable turn of events, it's now been turned into a video game...Sock and Awe. Wait, it gets better. It turns out the site has been sold for $7,818. It was purchased by British web services company Fubra...just four days after the site launched.
The guy responsible for Sock and Awe is the same one who captured headlines for creating the Million Dollar Homepage back in 2005. Alex Tew made a name for himself by making a million dollars off selling individual pixels of the page for $1 each.
