A cast member from the MTV reality show Buckwild has been arrested on drug charges.
Police in West Virginia arrested 24-year-old Salwa Amin early Monday morning.
Amin now faces felony charges for possession with intent to sell of prescription medicine and heroin.
She’s being held on $200,000 bond in Nicholas County, West Virginia.
A George Washington High School graduate, Amin attended West Virginia University Institute of Technology in Montgomery. She earned a degree in accounting, according to Kackie Eller, a guidance counselor at the university.
“She was a very bright young lady and a very beautiful young lady,” Eller said. “She’s very personable and I truly enjoyed knowing her. I find all of this hard to believe.
“She’s not the kind of person I thought would do that.”
Buckwild, which just renewed for a second season, features the antics of nine young West Virginians who spend their time partying.
