F My Life: It's Funny, It's True, Except When It Happens to You

It now looks as though Rachelle Lefevre will not be playing Victoria in the new Twilight movie.  She has been replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard in Eclipse. Summit Entertainment issued a press release on Tuesday announcing the change.

"We are incredibly happy that Bryce has agreed to come into the franchise," the studio's President of Worldwide Production and Acquisitions, Erik Feig, said in the release.  "Rachelle brought 'Victoria' to great screen life and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character. The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role."

Summit mentioned that the 30-year-old Lefevre could not continue her involvement in the ongoing Twilight saga due to scheduling conflicts with another commitment. In August, the month Eclipse is set to begin shooting, the Canadian actress is expected to join the production of her other feature project Barney's Vision.
