Police want to know who beat, robbed, and stripped a tourist here in downtown Baltimore on St. Patrick’s Day.
Instead of helping the victim, many in the crowd just laugh and keep videotaping the beating.
The video below shows a man being punched in the face and falling to the ground.
Then, the crowd strips him naked and takes his car keys, watch, money and iPhone.
Police say the victim was out partying and woke up the next day at his hotel, cut and bruised with no idea why.
“He had every right to leave wherever he was and get back to where he needed to be safely. Their behavior was just criminal,” says Detective Nicole Monroe of the Baltimore City Police Department.
“Not only was he relieved of his property after he was assaulted, but there were a lot of other things done to him that are disturbing to look at, and we want to bring these people to justice,” Monroe said.
The victim was a 31-year-old man from Arlington, Virginia.
Investigators were able to freeze a portion of the assault and zoom in on three people wanted in the case. City police are hoping someone can identify the perps.
It’s just sad to see something like this right here in my hometown.
Let’s hope they catch these creeps.
