F My Life: It's Funny, It's True, Except When It Happens to You

Brooklyn Decker Sports Illustrated 2010

Model Brooklyn Decker has been handed the honor of appearing on the cover of the annual Sports Illustrated: 2010 Swimsuit Edition.

Decker now joins the ranks of other famous supermodels that have landed the Sports Illustrated cover, including Heidi Klum and Tyra Banks.

Decker, 22, is married to tennis star Andy Roddick.  She appears on the magazine's cover sporting a yellow bikini.  The cover was snapped by SI photog Walter Looss Jr.

The model's trip to a North Carolina mall at the age of 16 would change her life.

While at the mall, Decker was spotted by popular prom dress maker Mauri Simone and offered a modeling job.  The rest was history.

She has appeared in shows such as Ugly Betty, Chuck, Royal Pain, and The Dan Patrick Show.

Brooklyn first appeared in Sports Illustrated in 2006. CBS’ David Letterman had dubious honor of unveiling her Times Square billboard, which displays a giant version of the magazine cover, during the Late Show on Monday night.

The popular swimsuit issue hits newsstands today so be sure to grab yours!
