Brooke Mueller Says Charlie Sheen Threatened to Have Her Killed

Brooke Mueller, wife of actor Charlie Sheen, says that her husband pinned her down onto the bed, put a knife to her throat, and said he would have her killed, according to her newly released official statement to the Aspen County Police Department.

In an affidavit, Mueller alleges Sheen said, “I have ex-police I can hire who know how to get the job done, and they won’t leave any trace,” as he pointed the knife at her.

Apparently, Brooke told cops that she told Sheen she wanted a divorce and that she would get custody of their two kids. Sheen then became enraged, grabbed her by the neck, pointed a knife at her throat, and threatened to kill her. The police report cites red marks located on Brooke Mueller’s neck.

In his statement to police officer Rick Magnuson, Sheen, who was ID’d in police docs by his real name, Carlos Irwin Estevez, denies threatening his wife. He said that the two had been having some marital difficulties and that Brooke had an alcohol problem.

Sheen’s version of the story claims that the dispute started at about 3:30 a.m. on Christmas morning.  The whole thing erupted when Mueller became angry about a song that Sheen sang with his daughter from his second marriage to Denise Richards. Sheen believes that Brooke is jealous of the relationship he has with his daughter.

He goes on to say that Brooke threatened to divorce him, which set him off because of his previous history.

In Sheen’s version of the story, he says that he ad Mueller smacked one another on the arms. He also admits that he snapped two pairs of her glasses.

Police, meanwhile, say they’ve identified the knife with which Mueller claims was threatened. It was found locked in the open position in Charlie Sheen’s travel bag.

Sheen was charged with assault, menacing with a deadly weapon and criminal mischief. He coughed up $8,500 bond and was released.
