Brittany Murphy Fired from Movie Set?

According to several reports, Brittany Murphy was fired from an upcoming movie that she was shooting in Puerto Rico.  Rumor has it she was being difficult on-set and hindering production.

It’s not clear which film it was, but some are reporting that it was The Caller, which also stars Stephen Moyer.

It didn’t take very long for Murphy to be replaced. Twilight starlet Rachelle Lefevre reportedly hopped a plane as soon as Brittany got the boot.

Interestingly, Murphy’s husband, Simon Monjack, also reportedly arrived at LAX airport “incoherent” and had to be hospitalized on Saturday.

Murphy thought her hubby was having an asthma attack, but medical personnel on the scene thought it was even more serious.

He was eventually released from the hospital last night, and was even feeling well enough to snag a few burgers on the way home.
