Brittany Murphy Dies, Simon Monjack Wants No Autopsy

As we reported earlier, actress Brittany Murphy died on Sunday. The cause of death given by authorities was “cardiac arrest.”

Simon Monjack, Brittany Murphy’s husband, has now made it clear that he does now want an autopsy performed on his wife.

The coroner, however, plans to do one anyway to determine the exact cause of death. Murphy’s mother, meanwhile, apparently informed the paramedics who arrived on the scene this morning that her daughter had diabetes.

Foul play doesn’t seem to be a consideration at the moment. A source claims that some prescription medications were found at the scene, but it is unclear what exactly those prescriptions were.
