Bret Michaels Piers Morgan 2011

Well, that was a little more than I needed to know.  In a new interview with CNN’s Piers Morgan, the first since he had heart surgery in January, Bret Michaels now reveals what he was watching when he suffered that brain hemorrhage last April.

“It was actually ‘Busty Cops: To Protect And Serve’ I believe,” says Michaels. “You know they say if you get really excited it can also bring on (brain) hemorrhage.”

“What a way to go if that would have been the last thing you watched on TV,” said Morgan.  Michaels says that’s not how he wanted his kids to remember him.

“One of the things that may have made me survive, and I thank ‘Busty Cops’ for this, I do not want my legacy to be, my daughters woke up, their dad was watching a re run of really low quality porn…and that’s what their dad died from,” he said.

Bret Michaels and Poison will reunite for a 25th anniversary tour, co-headlining dates this summer with Motley Crue.
