Don’t you just love it when a player gets caught doing something they shouldn’t be doing on camera?
Take, for example, the University of Florida’s Brandon Spikes. On Saturday, the Gators’ linebacker was caught eye gouging an opponent during the team’s 41-17 thumping of the Georgia Bulldogs.
The footage clearly shows his hand reaching around inside of the opposing player’s helmet after the play was apparently over. Is this proof that Spikes was eye gouging?
Apparently so, because Brandon Spikes has been suspended for “one half” due to the incident. You can view the footage below and decide for yourself.
