Local Boston police are hunting a person they call the Craigslist Killer
. This individual apparently stalks hookers for their money.
Just two days ago, twenty-six-year-old Julissa Brisman was shot several times in a Boston hotel room by someone who solicited her massage services on Craigslist.
Now it appears that he has struck again. This time he tried to rob a woman offering “private dances” in a Rhode Island hotel.
Rhode Island police confirm this morning that a man matching the description of Boston’s Caucasian killer held a 26-year-old woman at gunpoint last night at a Holiday Inn Express and demanded all her money.
“She was offering private dances on Craigslist,” said Warwick Lt. Joseph Coffey. Police are now coordinating with Boston detectives on the case.
The armed suspect, a white male with blond hair wearing blue jeans and a dark jacket, tied up the victim with a cord late last night and tried to steal her money.
“The woman’s husband then came into the room and (the suspect) held him up too, but gave up and then fled,” the officer said. “The woman was not injured and nothing was taken.”
The daring husband actually chased the suspect briefly but stopped to return and check on his wife.
In all, three women have been attacked, all advertising their erotic services on Craigslist.
