Are you finding yourself less and less interested in logging onto Facebook to see what you’re friends are up to?
You’re not the only one.
According to a new poll by Reuters and research firm Ipsos, about one-third of all Facebook users are feeling pretty underwhelmed with the social network these days, and that feeling seems to be growing.
Another interesting nugget found in the poll of more than 1,000 Americans, 80 percent of Facebook users have never purchased a product or service because of what they saw on the social networking site, meaning that whatever marketing techniques companies are currently using to sell their products just isn’t working.
As you might expect, the survey found that users between the ages of 18 and 34 were the most active, while just 29 percent of those over 55 considered themselves to be regular users.
It seems that people who spend lots of time on the network often fall victim to “Facebook fatigue,” leading them to spend less time logged on.
How about you? Do you get ever get Facebook burn out?
