F My Life: It's Funny, It's True, Except When It Happens to You
A bomb squad was summoned to Oprah Winfrey's TV studio on Friday afternoon following reports of a suspicious package.
Chicago Bomb and Arson authorities descended upon Harpo Studios at about 6:20am EDT after one employee found a strange backpack with wires protruding from it resting in a flower bed.
Officials used "remote diagnostics" to analyze the backpack's contents and were able to determine that the package did not contain a bomb. Authorities did not reveal exactly what was in the backpack, however.
The studio wasn't evacuated during the investigation although streets in the area were closed for approximately three hours.
