Bing Travel is here.
This morning, Microsoft debuted the new service, one of the areas upon which it will focus heavily when marketing the new Bing decision engine.
Bing Travel integrates many of the hotel and airfare tools from Microsoft’s 2008 acquisition of Farecast with content from MSN Travel. If you look closely, you will notice that travel.msn.com now redirects to the new URL.
Microsoft hopes that Bing Travel will help to make Bing stand out from other search engines by providing the user with the actual tools necessary to make informed decisions.
Among the new features rolled out in Bing Travel are the Price Predictor (which forecasts airfare prices), Rate Indicator (which highlights hotel deals), along with Travel Deals, Comparison Flight & Hotel Search, and Fare Alerts...
