The independent medical examiner hired by the widow of deceased television salesman Billy Mays has ruled that cocaine use didn't play a part in his death.
In a prepared statement, Deborah Mays states that the examiner inspected the autopsy results and found nothing to substantiate claims of prolonged cocaine abuse. He went on to state that his death was "natural."
Mays was found dead in his condo in Tampa back in June.
The original autopsy seemed to indicate that cocaine use led to the heart disease that killed him.
the late pitchman's family did not concur with this assessment and hired their own independent examiner.
