So you head into your local children’s clothing store and you see this – a onesie with a woman in a bikini drawn on the front.
Are you outraged?
Some people sure seem to be, after popular clothing retailer Gordman’s started stocking a onesie for infants with a bikini-clad woman’s silhouette depicted on the front.
Many parents seem to think the bikini onesie is “inappropriate.”
“I feel it’s very inappropriate for an 18-month-old girl,” said one parent interviewed by Action News 5.
“I don’t think it’s appropriate for a small child,” said parent Cathryn McKee. “I just think that is a little ridiculous that you would put that on your child.”
Still, there are others who say this is all much ado about nothing.
“I just think people overreact to stupid stuff I just don’t take offense to that at all,” said parent Jeannie Stanley.
I would have to agree. I think it’s actually pretty amusing. Come on, people. It’s just a cute little onesie with a funny drawing on it.
