F My Life: It's Funny, It's True, Except When It Happens to You
Google is celebrating the 40th anniversary of Sesame Street. The company's logo today features Big Bird's legs in place of the "L".
It's nice to see Google getting into the spirit of things, but personally, I would have liked to see Cookie Monster's eyes used in place of the "OO"s, but that's just me.
Sesame Street is well known for its Muppets characters created by Jim Henson. The show premiered on November 10, 1969, and is the longest running children's program on U.S. TV. The show is produced in the United States by the non-profit organization Sesame Workshop, formerly known as the Children's Television Workshop (CTW), which was founded by Joan Ganz Cooney and Ralph Rogers.
