
Today is the last day to apply for the “Best Job in the World“.
The Australian tourism board wants you to write a weekly blog post, maintain a video blog and upload your photos, all while exploring Australia’s Islands of the Great Barrier Reef.
The six-month Island Reef Job pays about $100,000 for six months working a total of twelve hours per month (yes, you read that correctly). Last week, they reported that over 15,000 applications had been received.
Applicants have posted hundreds of YouTube videos applying for the job and the press has had a field day with it. Britain’s Telegraph newspaper reported last month that the website crashed from all the traffic it received.
