A man who ran onto the field during Opening Day at Oriole Park at Camden Yards here in Baltimore has been banned for life by the Orioles.
Mark Harvey donned a cap, a cape, and some boxer shorts and went on quite a run before security was finally able to bring him down.
“I don’t recommend doing it,” Harvey said. “Trust me, they tackle you hard.”
As you might expect, charging onto the field in Batman underwear and a cape is not something the Orioles take lightly. Officials confirmed to Blippitt that he’s been banned “for life.”
Despite the ban, a “miscommunication” between the team and law enforcement allowed him to get out of jail after being held for 13 hours.
“They said all the charges were dropped, which I was surprised,” Harvey said. “I asked them twice, like, are you sure?”
After all was said and done, thought, Mark Harvey indicated that he might try to fight crime again one day soon.
“You know what? Batman might be back.”

This performance might even make Robert Andino smile.
