Just one day before the Avatar trailer plays in Imax theaters around the globe, a preview for the epic movie went live on the Apple website.
The new Avatar trailer highlights newcomer Sam Worthington as a paraplegic linked to an alien on the planet Pandora.
Avatar will be the first feature film from James Cameron since Titanic won a record-tying 11 Oscars back in 1997. The new film also features Sigourney Weaver, who got the first of her three Oscar wins under Cameron’s direction for Aliens.
Avatar‘s official website went down on Monday as requests for free tickets for the screening crashed its servers. The preview will hit at 6 and 6:30pm local time, ahead of the evening showing of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Fox is also releasing the trailer to movie theaters on Friday.
