Ashley Dupre Gets Her Own Weekly Sex Column

Ashley Dupre, the former call girl whose tryst with former Governor Eliot Spitzer led to his resignation, has just gotten her own weekly advice column. The new column in the New York Post deals with sex and relationships.

Dupre gained notoriety after news broke of her encounter with Spitzer at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington back in February of 2008, which then led to his hasty resignation as governor of New York.

The Post mentions that Dupre, 24, is someone who’s had a few missteps and is now sharing her knowledge via the column, “Ask Ashley.”

“Sure, she’s made some mistakes,” reads the introduction to her column. “But now Ashley Dupre, the former escort who brought down Gov. Eliot Spitzer, is sharing what she’s learned in her new sex, love and relationship column.”

It sounds like Dupre will have no problem speaking her mind.

“Here you have all these girls accepting gifts, money, trips from Tiger in exchange for sex — all the while knowing he is married,” she said. “And now they all can’t wait to tell their stories in exchange for even more money from the tabloids? And I was the hooker? At least I kept my mouth shut.”
