F My Life: It's Funny, It's True, Except When It Happens to You
Sparks were flying at the White House on Wednesday.
During a press briefing, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs compared April Ryan of American Urban Radio to an impatient child.
The heated exchange began when Ryan persistently questioned Gibbs about White House social secretary Desiree Rogers' part at a recent state dinner, you remember, the one that was crashed by Tareq and Michaele Salahi.
Ryan was curious about rumors that Rogers had overstepped her boundaries at the dinner and overshadowed the first lady.
Growing impatient with this line of questioning, Gibbs tells her "calm down," adding "I do this with my son and that's what happens."
Ryan quickly retorts: "Don't play with me."
