Here’s one that will make you scratch your head.

Apple has seemingly rejected an update to the Nine Inch Nails application for the iPhone badgeitunes61x15dark, which itself had already been approved a few weeks ago.

The update was rejected because Apple found the content “objectionable”.  The content in question is the 1994 NIN album “The Downward Spiralbadgeitunes61x15dark.

Get ready, here’s the best part.  “The Downward Spiral” badgeitunes61x15dark was already available on the original NIN iPhone app badgeitunes61x15dark.

So what is the deal with Apple’s approval process?  Apps like “Baby Shaker” make it through (although it was later removed), but a music industry legend like Trent Reznor gets censored for content that was already available both in the app store and on iTunes?

The App Store approval process it clearly a joke at this point.  Major changes will need to be made before things get ugly.

Obviously, Trent Reznor himself doesn’t even know what to make of this one.
