Here's one that will make you scratch your head.
Apple has seemingly rejected an update to the Nine Inch Nails application for the iPhone , which itself had already been approved a few weeks ago.
The update was rejected because Apple found the content "objectionable". The content in question is the 1994 NIN album "The Downward Spiral" .
Get ready, here's the best part. "The Downward Spiral" was already available on the original NIN iPhone app
.
So what is the deal with Apple's approval process? Apps like "Baby Shaker" make it through (although it was later removed), but a music industry legend like Trent Reznor gets censored for content that was already available both in the app store and on iTunes?
The App Store approval process it clearly a joke at this point. Major changes will need to be made before things get ugly.
Obviously, Trent Reznor himself doesn't even know what to make of this one.
UPDATE: Trent Reznor has fired back at Apple...and he is pissed. Read about it here...Trent Reznor Fires Back!
