Antoine Dodson has finally realized his dream of buying a home for his family away from the crime-laden projects. Dodson shot to fame after appearing in the news, speaking out about his sister’s attacker with a tirade that would eventually turn into the auto-tuned “Bed Intruder Song” from the Gregory Brothers and become a smash hit online.
Antoine Dodson has seemingly done the impossible, turning a horrible situation into something light-hearted – and profitable.
“I still can’t believe this,” Dodson told Us magazine. “Even though my life is moving forward, it’s at a standstill in my mind. I’m like, ‘Wow! All of this is happening just off a news interview!’”
A business student, Dodson has also re-enrolled in his Associate’s Degree program.
“That way I can take everything to the next level and be on a more professional level,” he explained, saying that he hopes to open a salon or possibly even a hotel one day.
