Ever since he was a young lad, Anthony Toth has admired the first-class cabin of those old Pan Am 747s...maybe a little too much.
He has spent the last twenty years, and a total of about $50,000, recreating that environment to a tee in his garage. In addition to spending the $50K, he's also traveled around the globe to find just the right vintage equipment.
Toth made multiple trips to Death Valley, where airplane carcasses are disposed of, in his search for parts. The replica isn't open to the public, although Tosh sometimes hosts executive meetings where drink service is offered.
He's got authentic Pan Am glasses. The overhead compartments are original Pan Am construction. He even managed to get his hands on some sealed packages of salted almonds.
The only change Anthony Toth has made is a flat-screen TV in place of the old-school projection Pan Am used. See obsessive photos below...
