Just what the people of Haiti did not need. There was another earthquake in Haiti yesterday, an aftershock which measured 6.1 on the Richter scale.
This was the strongest aftershock yet from last week’s devastating 7.0-magnitude quake.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake was centered about 35 miles (56 kilometers) northwest of Port-au-Prince and was 13.7 miles (22 kilometers) below the surface.
Last week’s horrific temblor killed about 200,000 people in Haiti, left 250,000 hurt and mleft about 1.5 million homeless.
The extent of any new damage or injuries from this latest quake is not yet known.
