Here we go again.
Anna Fermanova, a 24-year-old Latvian-American emigrant and a Russian beautician who hails from Plano, Texas, is under house arrest for being an alleged spy. She has a license in cosmetology and got a Communications degree from the University of Phoenix.
The sexy beautician denies the spying charges but, if the charges stick, she would become the second sexy Russian spy to emerge this year. Just weeks ago, Anna Chapman was also involved in a suspected spying case.
Fermanova, 24, has been of smuggling weapons-grade night-vision scopes to Moscow, a charge she denies, saying that the scopes were for hunting purposes.
She was trying to smuggle the scopes inside her boots at JFK International Airport in March of this year. They were confiscated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and she was permitted to travel to Moscow, but when she returned to the U.S., she was busted.
