Angry Birds Theme Song PomplamooseI’ll admit, I was a little late in hopping on the Angry Birds bandwagon.  I just started playing the game a few weeks ago and I’m now on 6-14.

Needless to say, I’m completely hooked.  I can’t put it down.

This is one of the coolest covers I’ve seen in a long time.  In the video below, Pomplamoose does a most excellent cover of the Angry Birds theme song.

For those unfamiliar, Pomplamoose is an American indie music duo with multi-instrumentalists Jack Conte and Natalie Dawn Knutsen, performing under the name Nataly Dawn. The band formed in the summer of 2008.

The name of the band derives from the French word pamplemousse, meaning “grapefruit”.
