Vulture Rams ParagliderA Russian paraglider’s first Himalayan flight was almost his last after colliding with a griffon vulture mid-air.

His canopy became tangled, but luckily he was able to open the emergency parachute and land safely, even with the vulture still stuck in the strings of his chute.

Seconds after the successful landing, Paravoffka – the nickname of the survivor in the paragliding community – called his friends on the walkie-talkie and then made an attempt to free the bird, who no-less-frightened than himself.

Finally the bird was free, and the whole thing was caught on video.
