All is not well in the land of “America’s Next Top Model“.
Six women were injured and three people were arrested after an apparent stampede as thousands waited in New York to audition for the wildly popular show.
Two women and one man were placed under arrest and charged with inciting a riot and disorderly conduct.
The pandemonium began outside a Manhattan hotel after a car spewing smoke approached the women waiting to audition late in the afternoon. Someone shouted “fire” and it all went downhill from there. A man then jumped out of the vehicle and started grabbing purses belonging to the women.
Some of the women had waited up all night long just to audition for the show starring Tyra Banks.
The auditions were for the show’s 13th cycle, for which about a dozen contestants will be chosen.
