Here’s something you certainly don’t see every day.
We’ve all seen videos where one baseball player forgets how many outs there are, but have you ever seen an entire baseball team forget?
Sunday afternoon at Coors Field, Rockies relief pitcher Carlos Torres struck out Chris Heisey of the Cincinnati Reds for the third out of the inning.
Not one player moved. In fact, catcher Ramon Hernandez even began throwing the baseball “around the horn.”
It wasn’t until a confused home plate umpire Cory Blaser held up three fingers that the team finally realized their gaffe.
Smooth move, guys. Smooth move.
