Senator John Kerry is on his daughter’s side over her DUI bust this morning in Los Angeles. He seems a to be in denial about why they busted her, however.
The Senator says that Alexandra Kerry blew only a .06, which is under California’s legal limit of .08. The Senator also claims that she wasn’t pulled over for driving drunk but rather for having expired tags.
A representative for Kerry states, “Senator Kerry supports his daughter and will have no further comment on a private matter.”
The Senator failed to mention that flunked sobriety test, though. Still, law enforcement sources indicate it’s unlikely prosecutors will file any charges.
