MIVA Media has been acquired by Adknowledge.
Adknowledge bought the media division of performance ad network MIVA, for about $11.6 million. The media division of Miva includes the Miva site, Findwhat.com and Espotting brands.
MIVA was always a little touch and go with my advertising campaigns, but some niches convert quite well. Adknowledge ought to help take them to the next level.
Here is the formal announcement from MIVA:
Dear Advertiser,
We are emailing today with important and exciting information regarding MIVA Media. As you may be aware, yesterday afternoon MIVA Media was acquired by performance-based ad network, Adknowledge, in an all cash transaction.
This transaction creates a major force in online advertising and comes at a time when an increasing number of advertisers are focusing their marketing spend on performance-based channels.
We believe that combining the resources and technology of MIVA Media and Adknowledge will create significant opportunities for both advertisers and publishers. Initially there will be no change in the way you plan and manage your MIVA campaigns, however work will immediately begin on integrating our teams and product offerings. Our objective is to create one, unified and best-of-breed online ad solution that can deliver the maximum value to your online business.
We will keep you posted as this exciting process progresses. In the meantime, we have included answers to some commonly asked questions below.
Kind regards,
MIVA Advertiser Support
