Well, it wasn’t exactly a song performed by Marilyn Monroe, but The Today Show‘s Matt Lauer will probably remember his 52nd birthday anyway.
Meredith Vieira had Abe Vigoda drop by to wish Matt a Happy Birthday.
In a strange coincidence, today is also Meredith’s birthday. She wasn’t there is person, but she did phone in her wishes and give a proper intro for Vigoda, 87, who is best known for his role as Detective Sgt. Phil Fish on the sitcom Barney Miller from 1975-1977 and for his portrayal of Sal Tessio in “The Godfather” and “The Godfather Part II”.
