Officials have just released excerpts from 911 tapes from that Air Force One flyover in New York.
The tapes clearly show that New York and New Jersey residents were terrified by the sight of a huge aircraft and an F-16 fighter plane whizzing around the State of Liberty on Monday.
The recordings from various 911 calls are below.
On a related note, President Obama initiated a review of the photo shoot and found that the event cost taxpayers a massive $328,835.
Obama indicated that he wasn’t told about the activity in advance.
“It was a mistake,” Obama said today before a meeting at FBI headquarters in Washington. “It will not happen again.”
