Believe it or not, a police officer in Texas has tasered a 72-year-old great-grandmother after a routine traffic stop turned into an ugly scene.

The officer says that Kathryn Winkfein was mouthing off and got physical during a traffic stop on May 11, 2009.

The dashboard camera clearly shows that Winkfein was getting physical and defiant, but only AFTER Deputy Chris Bieze shoves her behind her car.  He later claims that he did so in order to get the both of them out of traffic.

Near the end of the video, you can hear Kathryn Winkfein practically begging the officer to give her the ticket so she can sign it.

Instead, Bieze greets her with the business end of his taser and you can hear the 72-year-old great grandmother's screams of agony.

Yes, she was being argumentative and wouldn't listen to the officer, but please.  The officer absolutely escalated this by screaming at the woman and shoving her.

Way to go, boys in blue.
