A woman in North Dakota thinks that her 7-foot-long dog may set a world record. “Boomer” stands 3 feet tall and is 7 feet long from nose to tail.
Caryn Weber, the dog’s owner, says that her 3-year-old Landseer Newfoundland is able to keep all four paws on the ground when drinking from the kitchen faucet in her house (yuck!).
When Boomer peers into car windows to look at drivers, he stands eye to eye with them. A 20-pound bag of dog food only last a couple of weeks around the 7-foot-long dog, who weighs in at about 180 pounds.
Weber states that the dog “comes into the house and his tail is so high everything gets knocked around.”
Weber is going to send Boomer’s information to Guinness World Records. The record holder previously was an almost-4-foot-tall Great Dane that passed away this summer.
