The internet's mischievous 4chan group, known mostly for hacking Google Trends, hacking Twitter, and other random acts of chicanery, have now used their powers for good instead of evil.

A video of two men abusing a cat was uploaded onto YouTube last week and members of 4chan's /b/ did their part to bring the morons to justice.

They quickly had the suspects list narrowed down to prime candidates, using info from other online profiles, including Facebook, MySpace, etc, and local authorities arrested the abusers.

/b/ has often been scrutinized in the past, but if nothing else, they do seem to love animals.  Before the arrest, their site's forum was full of "in memory of the cat" posts, pictures, and even threats to do to the cat abusers what they did to the cat.
