Four people charged with kidnapping 18-year-old Stetson Johnson, tattooing “RAPEST” on his forehead, and using a stun gun to shock his genitals before beating him with a baseball bat have pleaded guilty to kidnapping and maiming charges.
Three of the four defendants have also pleaded guilty to assault and battery in a plea agreement with prosecutors, while the fourth pleaded no contest to the charge during a hearing in Oklahoma.
Richard Dellert, Zachary Provence, Kimberly Kirchler Vergara, and Lorena Hodges were accused of attacking Johnson on April 17 as punishment after one of the women accused him of trying to rape her.
Johnson denied the charge, saying he knows all four people but has never tried to hurt any of them. Investigators found no evidence to support their claim.
Special Judge Stephen Alcorn sentenced Dellert, 25, and Provence, 21, to a total of 10 years in prison followed by 10 years of probation.
Vergara, 24, who was ironically holding a Bible in court, and Hodges, 33, were each sentenced to five years in prison and five years of probation in the attack a prosecutor called “a brutal case of bullying.”
Stetson Johnson says the others tied him up using duct tape while “RAPEST” was tattooed on his forehead and a phrase resembling “I like little boys” was tattooed on his chest.
The forehead tattoo has been covered with another one that looks like a bar code and he’s currently trying to have it removed.
He says the two men kicked him in the face dozens of times while the two women took turns shocking his genitals. They then threw him in a car, took him to Eagle Lake in Del City, and hit him with a baseball bay until he passed out.
He wound up spending a week in the hospital with a fractured skull, broken nose, and other injuries.
I don’t know what’s more disturbing here…the fact that there was no proof that Johnson did anything wrong before these people abused him, or the fact that, between the four of them, no one could spell “rapist” correctly.
Who does that? “Man, that’s the rapest thing I’ve ever seen.”
These people need a lobotomy.
