PowerballSo who won?  The $336 million powerball jackpot winner has yet to come forward and claim their prize, lottery officials say.

The lucky Powerball ticket was sold in Rhode Island.  It was apparently bought at a Stop & Shop supermarket in Newport, lottery officials announced at a press conference today.

The $336 million Powerball jackpot is the third largest in history, but if the winner chooses the cash option, the after-tax payout will be about $210 million, the game’s largest-ever cash jackpot.

The winning numbers were 1-10-37-52-57, with a Powerball of 11.  They were on Saturday night and are posted on the official Powerball website.

To win, Powerball players must pick all five numbers from a pool of 59, as well as the correct Powerball number, drawn from a pool of 35.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 175,223,510.

The jackpot almost doubled from $173.5 million on February 1 due to increasing sales.

Next week’s drawing will be for a mere $40 million.

Powerball is played in 42 states, Washington D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
