Most dads who decide to take picture of their kids to send to family are kind of boring. Most of the time, the kids are standing there trying to force a smile before someone starts crying.
Jason Lee decided to do things a bit differently.
Jason, a wedding photographer, started taking photos of his two little daughters back in 2006 when his mom was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. The girls were always sick, it seemed, and had colds and/or coughs so he couldn’t always bring them to visit their grandmother.
Jason wanted her to be able to see her grandkids without catching their germs so he began a blog where his mom could see what was going on in their lives.
Most of the ideas in the photos below came from his daughters, 8-year-old Kristin and 5-year-old Kayla.
Jason says that they are never-ending source of ideas. We think he wins the dad-of-the-year award. Don’t you agree?
